The Douglas DC-7B, one of the world's most popular propeller driven airliners, is on the verge of extinction from the world of aviation. The American Museum of Aviation is working very hard not to let this happen and we'll need
your help to see us through. The American Museum of Aviation is in the process of restoring a Douglas DC-7B N4889C Serial #45353. Our
plans are to operate this Douglas DC-7B in its original paint scheme and
trim of the 1950's to which it was delivered. When finished this Douglas Propliner will tour airshows throughout the
continental United States and will be displayed at many open house functions as well.
We, at American Museum of Aviation are bringing this
"Golden Age" of air travel back so the youth of this generation and future generations
can experience the sights and sounds of the amazing industry which helped
to shape this country. Sometime soon, thanks to your help, the Douglas
DC-7B will be flying over your town or visiting an airshow near your city.
Stop and watch it fly over. Point it out to a child. Be proud, because
you, gave it wings!
Contribute $ 5000 to the restoration of this Douglas DC-7B
to become a member of the "Flagship Club"

1. Your name permanently displayed on a plaque inside the mighty Douglas as a member of the "Flagship Club" and helping to save the DC-7B from the scrap heap. Your name will also be added to the Honor Roll in our Museum.
