Prop-Liners of America is a volunteer, non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization
incorporated
under Connecticut laws as a non-stock, non-profit corporation to promote
the restoration, exhibition and flying display of propeller driven airliners
at airshows and open houses throughout the continental United States.

The Convair 240, one of the world's most popular propeller driven airliners, is on the verge of extinction from the world of aviation. Prop-Liners of America is working very hard not to let this happen and we'll need your help to see us through. Prop-Liners of America is in the process of restoring a Convair 240 Serial #147, the last remaining Convair Flagship in exhistence and will be the only flying Convair 240 passenger liner in the world today. Prop-Liners of America plans to operate this Convair 240 in its original paint scheme and trim of the 1940's and 1950's to which it was delivered. When finished this Convair will tour airshows throughout the continental United States and will be displayed at many open house functions as well.
We, at Prop-Liners of America are bringing this
"Grand
Age" of air travel back so the youth of this generation and future
generations can experience the sights and sounds of the amazing industry
which helped to shape this country. Sometime soon, thanks to your help,
the Convair will be flying over your town or visiting an airshow near your
city. Stop and watch it fly over. Point it out to a child. Be proud, because
you, gave it wings!
Contribute $ 5000 to the restoration of this Convair 240
to become a member of the "Flagship Club"
and you will receive the following:

1. Your name permanently displayed on a plaque inside
the Convair as a member of the "Flagship Club" and helping to save
the Convair from the scrap heap. Your name will also be added to the Honor Roll in our Museum. 2. Your own plaque engraved with your name stating you
are recognized by Prop-Liners of America for helping to save and
to restore the Convair 240 to operational condition. 5. You will also receive an 8X10 photo of our Convair 240.
